Hallo zusammen!

Auch ich habe das schon mehrfach angesprochene Problem, dass jede Nacht immer um kurz nach drei die Internetverbindung abbricht und dann erst wieder nach ca. einer Stunde eine Einwahl möglich ist.
Hier im Forum wurde mehrfach geschrieben, dass dies an einer Einstellung der Easybox liegt, zwischen drei und vier Uhr die Verbindung zu unterbrechen.
Ich habe meine Easybox zwar mit dem Installationscode installiert und kann deshalb die erweiterte Einstellung nicht einsehen; jedoch glaube ich, dass es daran nicht liegen kann, weil die Box dauernd versucht, sich wieder zu verbinden - dies aber erfolglos.

Sollte es doch an meiner Einstellung liegen, hätte ich noch eine Frage:
Außer dem Installationscode habe ich keine Zugangsdaten. Wenn ich nun die Box resetten und manuell einrichten wollte, würde es dann reichen, vorher die Konfiguration zu sichern und nach dem Reset einfach zu laden? Wären dann auch alle Zugangsdaten eingetragen?

Es ist dann alles wieder eingetragen - einschließlich der Sperrung einiger Menüpunkte!

Die Zwangstrennung alle 24h ist ja Standard im Privatkundenbereich. Das Problem, welches du meintest, ist wohl, dass du nach der Zwangstrennung 8 Minuten warten musstest, bis die Verbindung wieder neu zustande kam.
Ich habe zwar völlig andere Hardware (7170) und ISDN-Anschluss, aber habe diese "authentication failure" auch verstärkt in letzter Zeit beobachtet, einmal sogar 2h lang. (von 3.00 bis 5.00 früh) Im Normalfall wärst du ja nach wenigen Sekunden wieder online.
Das Problem liegt also eher bei Arcor als bei dir.
